Assembly Required

Our computer desk is just a large table right now with junk all over it. This is because we got a new computer desk, but then it was damaged, so we had to take it back. So I disassembled the desk we worked to put together, and took it back. Then we had a brand new desk to put together. Guess who got the job?..........I can't say that it was too hard though. Just annoyingly time consuming. There were 20 different kinds of screws and nothing was labeled properly. I was very proud of myself for getting it all done though. Now I wont stand with my head schlumped down and hands dangling lifelessly at my side when I see " Assembly Required" on the box. I can do it.

Well done, you! I remember once when Mom wanted me to put together that swinging bench that currently resides in our front yard. Elise and I set to it (she was just about 13 or so) when we realized that, like you, we were without instructions and with very many parts and pieces to figure out how to assemble. And we did it. It was such a satisfying feeling. Your desk looks fantast.

Quite good, quite good.

Notice that I checked your blog out. It's totally great. Why haven't I done this before?!

Very good. You should have gone to Ikea though! They don't even have words on their instructions, and are super easy! But, that desk looks great even so, and goes well with your living room motif. Very good job, your future husband will appreciate your handy work.

I am proud of you and your assembly but let's get serious, what kind of 'scary jones women' are you if you don't vacate the denali?

We would have vacated the denali if we wouldnt have gone to jail for beating up a kid.
